Access

Getting to CNIT La Défense:
  • Paris Public Transportation (www.ratp.fr)
    • Métro/RER
      Take the Métro Line1 or the RER Line A to La Défense Grande Arche station, and take the “CNIT” exit:
      • Métro Line 1: Exit at La Défense Grande Arche stop (terminus of line 1). Use a normal (one zone) center-Paris ticket (Ticket t+).
      • RER Line A: Exit at La Défense Grande Arche station. Note, you must use a Zone-3 ticket if coming from central Paris. You will need your ticket to pass the barriers at the exit.
    • Tramway
      • Take line T2 to the La Défense stop
    • Bus
      Take line 73, 141, 144, 159, 258, 262, 272, 275, 278, 360, 378, 161, 174 or 178 to the La Défense stop
  • SNCF Trains (www.sncf.com)
    Take the Paris Saint-Lazare/Saint-Nom la Bretèche line or the Versailles-RD/Saint-Quentin en Yvelines/La Verrière line to the La Défense stop
Entering the CNIT venue:
  • From the Métro/RER: Take the escalators up one level from the métro, two levels up from the RER. The “CNIT” exit is surrounded by blue-and-green scaffolding; it is directly across from Exit C (Quatre Temps) and is next to the McDonald’s. You will go through a lighted tunnel and then up escalators to the main CNIT entrance.
  • From outside (the parvis/garden level): Take the escalators in front of the glass doors down one level, or enter the building and take the inside escalators down one level.

Airports

Paris is served by two airports: Charles de Gaulle (CDG) in the north, and Orly (ORY) in the south. Most international flights arrive in Charles de Gaulle, which is a major international hub. Domestic flights and some European flights arrive at Orly.

Getting to CNIT La Défense from Aéroport Charles de Gaulle:
  • Public Transport
    • Take RER B from the airport to the Châtelet-les-Halles station; change to RER A; take RER A to the La Défense Grande Arche station.
    • On the RER B line, the station Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 1 serves terminals 1 and 3; the station Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2 – TGV serves terminals 2A, 2C, 2D, 2E, 2F, and 2G.
    • Fare: 11.90€; time: 56 min.
  • Taxi
    • Fare: 50–60 €
    • Taxi stands: terminal 1: exit 24 on the arrivals level; terminal 2A: exit 6; terminal 2C: exit 14; terminal 2D: exit 7; terminal 2E: gate 12 on the arrivals level; terminal 2F: gate 11 on the arrivals level; terminal 3: exit of the arrivals hall; terminal 2G: blue gate
